::: Non-Ferrous Alloys

We work with the following alloys:

  • C706 - 90/10 - Composition: 10% Nickel, 1,4% Iron, 88,6% Copper, this metal is used in condensers, welded tubing for evaporators, heat exchangers, saltwater piping, ship hull plates.
  • C110 - Cu ETP - Composition: 99,9% Copper. If your application requires good electrical or heat conductivity, this material is recommended. Some applications are: Mig Contact Tips, Induction Furnaces, Bus Bars and others.
  • C122 - Phosphorous - Composition: 99,9% Copper and 0,03 % Phosphorous, this alloy has very good welding properties. Therefor used as water pipes, heat exchanger shells, condenser tubes, among others.
  • C102 - Cu OF - Composition 99,95% Copper and 0,001% max Oxygen. C102 is an oxygen-free copper which has better forming, resistance to hydrogen embrittlement, and brazing characteristics than C110 ETP. C102 has good solderability and corrosion resistance and is used for high current applications.
  • C272 - Yellow Brass 63/37 - Composition: 63% Copper, 37% Zinc. Copper alloy C272 has an excellent capacity for being  cold woked and is commonly used in pressure gauges, electrical connections, jewellery industry and more.
  • C687 - Aluminium Brass -  Composition: 77,5% Copper, 2,1% de Aluminium, 0,02 - 0,06%  Arsenic, 20,4% Zinc. The amount os Aluminium is used to improve the resistance to corrosion and erosion. Expecially suitable for heat exchangers
  • C260 - 70/30 Cartidge Brass -  Composition: 70% Copper, 30% Zinc. C260 is commonly used for electrical components, electronic parts, and mechanical fasteners.
  • C360 - Free Cutting Brass - Composition: 61,5% Copper, 3% Lead and 35,5% Zinc. It is used where good machinability is required.
  • C230 - Red Brass 85/15 Composition: 85% Copper 15% Zinc. C230 is very used in the pressure gauge and flexible tubes industry.
  • 1050 Aluminium alloy is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility and highly reflective finish.
  • 2011 Aluminium alloy is a high mechanical strength alloy that machines exceptionally well. Often called a Free Machining Alloy or ‘FMA’ it is well suited to use in automatic lathes.
  • 3003 Aluminium is a medium strength alloy with very good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and very good weldability as well as good cold formability. It has better mechanical properties, especially at elevated temperatures than the 1000 series alloys.
  • 6060 It has very good corrosion resistance and very good weldability plus good cold formability especially in temper T4. It is commonly used alloy for very complex cross sections and has very good anodizing response.
  • 6061 has good mechanical properties and exhibits good weldability. It is one of the most common alloys of aluminium for general purpose use.
  • 6063 Aluminium alloy is a medium strength alloy commonly referred to as an architectural alloy. It is normally used in intricate extrusions.It has a good surface finish, high corrosion resistance, is readily suited to welding and can be easily anodised.
  • 6262 Aluminium alloy is a heat treatable alloy with very good corrosion resistance and strength and has excellent machinability and surface finish. 
    Alloy 6262 can be used in place of 2011 when higher corrosion resistance and better anodising response is required.
  • 6351  High mechanical Strenght and good weldability, very used in machining processes.
